As we look ahead to HPBExpo25, I couldn’t be more excited about the innovations, opportunities, and energy we’re bringing to New Orleans this March. This year’s theme, “Bring the Good Times Home,” captures not only the vibrant spirit of our host city but also the shared passion driving our industry forward. With expanded programming, immersive experiences, and a renewed focus on community, this is truly your industry’s event—and we can’t wait to see you at HPBExpo in just a few weeks.

One of the most exciting new elements this year is our expanded live burn demonstrations, both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to HPBA’s revised policies, attendees will experience a larger selection of live-burning natural gas appliances on the show floor—twice as many products as our last show in Nashville. The return of our Outdoor Burn Area promises three full days of propane, charcoal, pellet, and woodburning showcases, along with a brand-new outdoor education classroom. These hands-on opportunities fuel curiosity and help inform smarter buying decisions and selling techniques.

Our educational program has grown significantly, offering 36 expert-led sessions and dynamic workshops tailored to elevate your knowledge and skills. From tax credits and building codes to live barbecue demonstrations and customer service strategies, there’s information that you need for your business in 2025. Plus, our inspiring Opening Session will focus on “Leading Through Times of Change,” featuring thought leaders sharing insights on living in this era of rapid transformation.

And, of course, we’ll celebrate the best in the business with our Ultimate Awards Show and an unforgettable Bayou Bash Industry Party. These moments of recognition and camaraderie remind us why we’re here: to support and grow this vibrant industry together. I can’t wait to celebrate the Retailer of the Year, Affiliate of the Year, and our other deserving recipients, along with Tim Reed, my co-host of the awards show. We promise to make it a fast-paced and fun night with the Industry Party immediately following the awards.

HPBExpo25 is more than an event—it’s a celebration of the hearth, barbecue, and outdoor living community. Let’s gather in New Orleans to connect, learn, and ignite a brighter future. I can’t wait to see you there.
