The Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Expo (HPBExpo) 2025, which is happening from March 26 to 29 in New Orleans, will feature National Fireplace Institute (NFI) Reviews that will take place on Wednesday, March 26 and Thursday, March 27. Please see the schedule below.
These reviews are designed to help industry professionals sharpen their technical knowledge and prepare for NFI certification exams, elevating their expertise in the hearth industry. Attendees can expect in-depth sessions covering essential topics, safety standards, and emerging trends—all led by seasoned experts. Attending the NFI Reviews at HPBExpo provides invaluable preparation for anyone planning to take the NFI certification exams.

The National Fireplace Institute (NFI) is the professional certification division of the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Education Foundation (HPBEF), a 501(c)3 non-profit educational organizations for the Hearth industry. NFI’s objective is to increase public safety by establishing meaningful credentials for professionals involved in planning and installing residential hearth appliances and venting systems. NFI certifies planners and installers in four hearth product categories: NFI Gas Specialist, NFI Woodburning Specialist, NFI Pellet Specialist, and NFI Hearth Design Specialist.
